The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
