The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo!
