Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
