The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
