The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
