The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
