The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
