Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
