The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
