The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
