Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
