The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
