The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
