The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
