The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
