The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
