Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
