The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
