The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determined and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
