The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
