Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
