The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
