The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
