The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
