The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
