The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
