The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
