The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
