The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
