The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
