The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
