The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
