Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
