The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
