The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
