Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
