The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
