The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
