The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
