The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
