Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
