The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
