The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
