The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
