The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
