Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 On that Day, there shall be downcast faces, 2 Toiling, weary, 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 Made to drink water from the boiling hot spring. 5 They will have no food except bitter thorn, 6 Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. 7 Many faces will be joyous on that day, 8 With their endeavour well pleased. 9 In the high empyrean, 10 where they will hear no idle talk, 11 Therein will be a bubbling spring: 12 therein uplifted couches 13 and goblets placed ready, 14 And cushions ranged! 15 and well spread carpets. 16 Have they not looked at how the camel is created, 17 how heaven was lifted up, 18 And the mountains: how they were fixed? 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 So, [O Prophet] exhort them: your task is only to exhort, 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 But if any turn away and reject Allah,- 23 Allah will punish him with direst punishment. 24 Indeed, to Us they shall return, 25 And Ours their reckoning. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
