Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
HAS NEWS OF the Overpowering Event reached you? 1 (Some) faces on that day shall be downcast, 2 labouring, weary, 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 they shall have no food but thorns, 6 Neither nourishing nor banishing hunger. 7 In that day other faces will be calm, 8 Pleased with their striving,- 9 In a lofty Paradise. 10 wherein thou wilt hear no empty talk. 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 Therein will be Thrones (of dignity), raised on high, 13 And cups put in place 14 and cushions arrayed in rows, 15 And rich carpets (all) spread out. 16 Do they never reflect on the camels and how they were created, 17 And the sky: how it was raised high? 18 how the mountains were hoisted, 19 And the earth: how it was spread out? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 Thou art not one to manage (men's) affairs. 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 In which case he will be punished by God with the severest punishment. 24 Verily unto Us is their return. 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
