Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Hath there come unto thee the story of the Enveloping Event? 1 Some faces that Day shall be downcast with fear, 2 laboring, wornout, 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 which gives no strength and neither stills hunger. 7 However, on that day the faces of other people will be happy. 8 Rejoicing over their efforts. 9 They will be in a lofty Garden 10 Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech. 11 In it is a flowing spring. 12 Within it are couches raised high 13 And goblets set at hand 14 And cushions set in a row, 15 And silken carpets spread. 16 Will they not then consider the camels, how they are created? 17 And at the sky - how it is raised? 18 And at the mountains, how firmly they are reared? 19 And at the Earth, how it is spread out? 20 (Muhammad), preach; you are only a preacher. 21 you are not their keeper. 22 Other than him who turns his back and denies, 23 So Allah will mete out to him the greatest punishment. 24 To Us is surely their returning; 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
