Al-Fajr
Dawn (Al-Fajr)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Night (Al-Layl) before The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of the (particular) dawn. 1 And by ten nights, 2 Consider the multiple and the One! 3 and by the night when it moves on towards daybreak (reward and retribution in the next life is an absolute reality). 4 Why is there an oath in this, for the intelligent? 5 (Muhammad), consider how your Lord dealt with the tribe of Ad, 6 Iram of the pillars, 7 whose like has never been created in any other land. 8 And Thamood, who hewed out the rocks of the valley? 9 And with Pharaoh, firm of might, 10 [All of] whom oppressed within the lands 11 spreading in them much corruption? 12 Then their Lord unloosed upon them the lash of chastisement. 13 Truly your Lord is ever watchful. 14 As for man, whenever his Lord tries him and then is gracious and provides good things for him, he says: "My Lord has been gracious to me." 15 And if He tests him and restricts his livelihood – thereupon he says, “My Lord has degraded me!” 16 No indeed; but you honour not the orphan, 17 And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor. 18 and you devour the inheritance [of others] with devouring greed, 19 and you ardently love wealth. 20 Surely when We pound the earth to powder grounded, pounded to dust, 21 and [the majesty of] thy Sustainer stands revealed, as well as [the true nature of] the angels; rank upon rank? 22 And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance? 23 He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!" 24 None can punish as He will punish on that day, 25 and none can bind with bonds like His! 26 O the contented soul! 27 Return to your Lord, well-pleased (with him), well-pleasing (Him), 28 "Enter you, then, among My honoured slaves, 29 And enter My Paradise." 30
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
