Dawn (Al-Fajr)
30 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Night (Al-Layl) before The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the dawn; 1 by the Ten Nights, 2 by the even and the odd, 3 The night as it advances, 4 Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception? 5 Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad - 6 (The people of) Aram, possessors of lofty buildings, 7 The like of which were not produced in (all) the land? 8 (Also consider how He dealt with) the Thamud, who carved their houses out of the rocks in the valley. 9 (Also consider the people of) the Pharaoh who victimized people by placing them on the stake, 10 (All) these transgressed beyond bounds in the lands, 11 spreading in them much corruption? 12 Therefore your Lord struck them hard with the means of punishment. 13 Truly your Lord is ever watchful. 14 And as for man, when his Lord tries him, then treats him with honor and makes him lead an easy life, he says: My Lord honors me. 15 But when He tests him by restricting his provision, he says: 'My Lord has humiliated me' 16 (Since wealth does not necessarily guarantee everlasting happiness) then why do you not show kindness to the orphans, 17 And do not urge one another to feed the needy. 18 And you devour (others') inheritance greedily, 19 And you love wealth with much love! 20 Surely when We pound the earth to powder grounded, pounded to dust, 21 and when your Lord appears with rows upon rows of angels, 22 And on that Day hell will be brought [within sight]; on that Day man will remember [all that he did and failed to do]: but what will that remembrance avail him? 23 He will say: Ah, would that I had sent before me (some provision) for my life! 24 None can punish as He will punish on that day, 25 Nor shall any bind with His bond. 26 (To the righteous soul will be said:) "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! 27 Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], 28 So enter among My (righteous) servants 29 "And enter you My Paradise!" 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
